The multi-award nominated star’s indecorous brand of gossipy humour has singled him out as one of the UK’s most sought-after talents for comedy and entertainment formats. Opening the show is Gbemi Oladipo! Guaranteed to lift the mood in any room, Gbemi is one of the most talked about break out comedy names on the circuit. An exciting new voice, he’s known for his charismatic and playful approach to contentious topics. A gifted and sought after writer, Gbemi is a series writer on Sky One Fantasy Football with Matt Lucas.
He also wrote and starred in the award-winning ‘F*ck My Life – Most Racist Uber Ride Ever’ a story based on one of his real-life experiences. The short film produced by Pulped Productions won the prestigious Broadcast Digital Awards in 2020 for Best Short-Form Format. The piece was also nominated for a Webby Award for Comedy (2021) alongside videos from James Corden, Trevor Noah’s the Daily Show and The Simpsons.
With Andy Field! Lead writer and star of his own BBC Radio 1 sketch series The Andy Field Experience, Andy has made an impact on the comedy scene with his silly style and refreshing approach to traditional stand up. TV appearances include BBC Presents: Stand Up For Live Comedy (BBC 1 & BBC 3), As Yet Untitled (Dave), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2) and Pie and a Pint (Comedy Central). A regular at festivals such as Latitude, Download, Bestival, Leefest, Secret Garden Party and Green Man, Andy is fast becoming a familiar face at top comedy clubs around the country.
