Tap Factory show – the international dance sensation – to arrive at Marina!

An international hit-show featuring urban tap dance, percussion, comedy and acrobatics, will soon arrive at the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft.

Tap Factory, the international dance sensation, features stunning live music and choreography.

It is created from the most ordinary of objects by a highly talented, internationally renowned cast of award-winning tap dancers.

The live stage show will be performed at the Marina Theatre on October 12 at 7.30pm.

Tap Factory was created by choreographer and artistic director Vincent Pausanias, who wanted to create a show that would showcase the magic of rhythm at its highest possible technical level.

Using his large experience as a director of many different shows, and working with Gilles Guenat, World Champion of Tap (elite category) and Jérémie Champagne, finalist of So You Think You Can Dance, France, Vincent combined urban percussion, acrobatics, hip hop and comedy within a tap dance framework - placing them in a contemporary urban setting to create an amazing dance spectacular and cirque experience.

“My first goal is to see everyone going out of the theatres with a huge smile on their faces and the rhythm pulsing in their bodies,” Vincent explained.
“Tap Factory has been created to be pure entertainment- rhythm and comedy are universal languages.
“We have been touring all over the world for four years now and the audiences - from four to 90 years old - have always reacted brilliantly.”

Performed by some of the world’s best tap dancers and international musicians, the end result is a highly visual, exciting show full of high-energy dance, explosive percussion and unbelievable acrobatics, all wrapped up in a fun-filled evening.

“What is great is the contrast between scenes,” Vincent added.
“To go from the strong energy of the urban percussions to the poetry and softness of an African flute or a double bass made with a broom and a rope, or to jump from a fast and strong tap routine to an amazing aerial acrobatic performance.”

Full price tickets are £23.50, Concessions £21.50, Privilege Card Holders £21.
