Lucy is a hugely talented stand-up, comedy actress and writer. She recently appeared as one of the contestants on the first series of the celebrity version of smash-hit show The Traitors on BBC 1. Previously, she has starred as one of the contestants on Series 16 of Taskmaster (Channel 4). Alongside this, in late 2024 she completed her most recent stand-up show to sold-out audiences across the UK, which was extended for a third leg due to audience demand. She is also known for starring in and writing five series of Meet the Richardsons (Dave).

Her performance in the show was nominated for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme in the 2023 BAFTAs, and the show won Best Comedy Programme at the Broadcast Digital Awards. Lucy created and co-wrote Hullraisers; a female led comedy series which launched on Channel 4 in Spring 2022, with a second series airing in Autumn 2023 – “Hullraisers is unapologetic. It’s laugh out loud. It’s real” (Refinery29). In 2023, she hosted Channel 4’s new Friday night panel show Odd Couples and was praised as “uproariously funny and highly relatable” by the Radio Times. In 2021 she also published a book entitled Drinking Custard: The Diary of A Confused Mum.

As well as a burgeoning TV career, Lucy has had success on stage and on radio. She is the writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s To Hull and Back and was nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award with her debut Edinburgh show, We Can Twerk It Out, for which she was described by Chortle as “irresistibly endearing”. Prior to this, she was winner of The BBC New Comedy Award and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer.

She has appeared on numerous entertainment shows; Would I Lie To You (BBC1) counts her as a regular, and she has also appeared on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel (BBC1), Live at the Apollo (BBC1), Have I Got News For You (BBC1), Celebrity Bake Off (C4), Ranganation (BBC), Guessable (Dave), Celebrity Gogglebox (C4), QI (BBC2), Drunk History (Comedy Central), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), The One Show (BBC1), Cats Does Countdown (C4), What’s Going to Kill Us (C5) and Live At The Electric (BBC Three).

Opening the show is award-winning comic James Ellis!

His sharp observational humour and clever punchlines have won him rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. James’ comedy is rooted in everyday life, and he has a knack for finding the funny in the mundane. A gifted writer, his jokes are well-crafted and delivered with precision.

Leicester Comedian of The Year 2025 Nominee, South Coast Comedian of the Year 2021, regional finalist for the BBC New Comedy Award, James is currently on the road supporting Angela Barnes on her “Angst” Tour. Ellis is a “Talented comedy craftsman” (Steve Bennett, Chortle) with a bright future ahead of him. If you’re looking for a good laugh on a night out, be sure to catch James live!

With multi-talented award-winning comedian and writer, Toussaint Douglass! Toussaint is one of comedy’s most exciting and talked about names and is making serious waves across the industry. Harnessing his neurodivergence his innovative brand of oddball comedy mixes the personal with the political whilst adding a uniquely absurdist slant to brilliant comic effect making it accessible for all.

Toussaint’s social media green screen creations and guerilla documentary-style clips consistently capture the attention of the best in the industry and catapult him to the top of everyone’s must-have list, rewarding him with appearances on Comedians Giving Lectures (Dave), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITVX), Late Night Mash (Dave), Richard Osman’s House of Games (BBC), Outsiders (Dave) and many many more!

In 2025, Toussaint made his hotly anticipated Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut with a critically acclaimed hour of stand-up that blended the surreal, the heartfelt, and the pigeon-obsessed. The show earned him a Best Newcomer nomination at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, a NextUp Biggest Award in Comedy nomination, and a place on the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards Longlist. Hailed by the New York Times as one of the “must-watch” shows of the festival, the show sold out its entire run, prompted an added extra performance, and due to overwhelming demand, led to an additional week being added to his Soho Theatre run. His debut firmly cemented him as one of the most original and exciting new voices in UK comedy.

The Haunting of Blaine Manor

Winner of The Salford Star Best Play of the Year Award

Written & Directed by Joe O’Byrne

England, 1953. Renowned American parapsychologist Doctor Roy Earle, famous for discrediting hauntings and exposing fake mediums, is invited to attend a seance in Blaine Manor, said to be the most haunted building in England.

However, Earle’s arrival awakes something horrific within the manor’s walls. As a raging storm closes them off from the outside world, Earle and his companions find that what is waiting within the manor is not nearly as horrific as what has entered with them.

In the spirit of M R James, England’s most accomplished ghost story writer (‘Casting the Runes’, ‘Whistle and I’ll Come To You My Lad’, ‘The Haunted Doll’s House’) and with a nod to the classic black and white film classics of Columbia Pictures, Metro Goldwyn Mayor, Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox.

O’Byrne’s award winning production is a love letter to both the Golden Age of Hollywood and the Hammer Horror era. An appreciation of the fabulous characters played by the likes of Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, Bette Davis, Peter Lorre and more. It’s a thrilling haunted house chiller set in a manor with a twisted history of madness, witchcraft, tragedy and death, it’s the new ‘The Woman in Black’.

“A horror masterclass from one of our very best and busiest writers” The Salford Star

“Shocking reveals and really fantastic character work from the cast, The Haunting of Blaine Manor feels plucked out of the old BBC Ghost Stories for Christmas and is highly recommended” Bloody-Flicks.co.uk

“A superbly crafted ghost story, with all the pace of a hard-boiled detective thriller, tinged with Hollywood glamour – and a good old dose of horror.” Lucy Wood, Grimsby Telegraph

“We should not be surprised that O’Byrne has a knack for the classic ghost story” The Manchester Theatre Awards

“One of the best original ghost stories I’ve seen on stage in a long time. The atmosphere in the theatre was fantastic. Everything you’d expect from a strong piece of theatre rooted in Victorian gothic horror… a great piece of theatre” The Nantwich News

“The direction by O’Byrne is impeccable, ensuring every moment is packed with tension and intrigue…every scene a blend of suspense and theatrical flair”  Stageside.co.uk
