Samba Drumming and Creative Rhythm

Our Samba band leader and professional music facilitator Marcus will teach you how to play the rhythms of Samba.

Each person will have the opportunity to try several different samba instruments and learn a piece of music that would usually be played in a parade or carnival.

There will be breaks for lunch and snacks some opportunities to get creative too.

This activity is fun for all personality types and can be a great way to relax into the rhythm or rock out, shake to the shakers, mindfully or meditatively melt into the sounds and learn new percussion skills.

Storytelling and Creative Writing

Come and join Simon Bridge who has previously worked as an educational workshop lead for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

Our Jolly Holiday Club offers a variety of things for children to do and we are flexible and dynamic in our approach, making our sessions suitable for all tastes.

We often start with group games, we then have an arts or craft activity followed by free play time, which is when children can decide what they would like to do.

We have dressing up costumes, puppets, board games, indoor sports activities, a sand table, a reading area and colouring and craft corner.
