Dire Streets

Dire Streets bring to life the classic songs of one of the world’s greatest guitar bands with a level of musicianship and attention to detail, making them the stand out Dire Straits tribute in the UK.

The two-hour theatre show includes faithful renditions of classic studio tracks along with extended live versions from some of the legendary Dire Straits concerts.

For over a decade, Dire Streets have performed Dire Straits’ incredible back catalogue to thousands of theatre-goers across the UK.

No other Dire Straits tribute act comes as close to reproducing Mark Knopfler’s distinctive guitar and vocal tones – making Dire Streets as near to the original band as you can see live.

Shakespeare Drama Workshop

Come and join our Shakespeare expert Simon, as he teaches you key drama skills to help you understand and act with Shakespeare.

Simon has years of experience working with the Royal Shakespeare Company and he has worked with people of all ages, helping them experience the fullness of literacy, drama and nuances of Shakespeare’s text.

Learn about the bard. Explore character, motivation and emotions. Have fun recreating some of Shakespeare’s most famous scenes.

Arts & Crafts Challenge Workshop

Come and have fun, get creative doing arts and craft challenges.

We will set several arty or crafty challenges and there will be creation stations set up around the room for free flow art too.

Have a try at handcrafted pottery, making sculptures and pots. Create art using food. Make cards, create stylish fashion designs, colour, paint and draw. Challenge yourself to get creative and create some masterpieces of your own imagining.

Prizes will be given out for the best artwork in each category. This is about having fun,  exploring imagination and talent, not being judged
