Beyond the Barricade is proud to be celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2024. The UK’s longest-running Musical Theatre Concert Tour delivers over two hours of the best of Broadway and the West End, from The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, The Lion King, Blood Brothers, Miss Saigon, Hamilton and many others, climaxing with a spectacular finale from, of course, Les Misérables! This brand new show will include many of the best numbers that have made Beyond the Barricade the most popular musical theatre concert in the country.

The concert tour will feature Andy Reiss, David Fawcett, Katie Leeming and Sarah Ryan who have all played principal roles in both the West End and UK Tours of Les Misérables, together with a live band who capture the feel of the original orchestrations of the chosen musicals.

To this day every musical note is still played and sung live – very rare indeed. Beyond the Barricade gives musical theatre songs a bold concert format treatment – but with the conviction and intention to deliver the material as if the audience are watching the original performance.

Forever Tenors, are a dynamic classical crossover duo that has taken the world by storm.

Consisting of two incredibly talented vocalists, Adam Lacey and Robert Durkin, this duo has been wowing audiences with their perfect blend of nostalgia and innovation. Taking classic compositions, you know and love and infusing them with new life and energy.  From “Nessun Dorma” to “Unchained Melody,” their rich and emotional renditions are sure to take your breath away.

Throughout their incredible career, Forever Tenors have had the privilege of performing alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Russell Watson, Alfie Boe, and Wynne Evans, cementing their place as one of the most exciting classical crossover duos to emerge in the industry.

We are therefore delighted to be hosting Forever Tenors on their UK tour ‘Surrender’ which is backed by their fantastic on-stage band, which promises to deliver an incredible night of entertainment.

Marty began his career in 1957 – and was one of the first British singers to play a leading part in those early formative and groundbreaking ‘Rock’n’roll’ years’. Marty is truly a legendary figure in music and he celebrates an official 8 Decades as a hit recording artist and songwriter (Hits for Kim Wilde, Status Quo, Tom Jones, The Casuals, Lulu, Hot Chocolate)

With his own many chart hits, including “Teenager In Love”, “Endless Sleep”,” Donna”,” Sea Of Love ” “Bad Boy” ,”Rubber Ball” ,“Jezebel” plus a host of wonderful hit songs from that era – Marty Wilde and his fabulous band the Wildcats take you back through some of the most exciting musical times this country has ever experienced.

A fantastic evening awaits you from a man who a short while ago was awarded the MBE by the Queen for Services to Music and who in May of 2019 made a welcome return to the British music charts with his top ten hits CD, Dreamboats & Petticoats presents The Very Best Of Marty Wilde and again in October 2020 he made the UK album charts with all-new material on his “Running Together”  album.

In December 2020 he wrote, recorded and produced his first-ever Christmas double A sided single “Christmas Fantasia”/” Christmas All Over The World” recorded with his daughters Kim and Roxanne Wilde.

During the hot summer of 2022 Marty was joined on stage by family members, Kim, Roxanne, Ricky and Scarlett Wilde, the entire concert was filmed for future DVD release.
