Robin Windsor – Genie of the Lamp

Robin began his dance training in Ipswich at the tender age of three. He studied Ballroom and Latin dance, eventually representing England and achieving success at world championship level.

For ten years, he was cast in the acclaimed dance show, Burn the Floor, including 3 world tours and a nine-month run on Broadway. He also performed on Dancing with the Stars (Australia) and So You Think You Can Dance (Holland), and assisted with choreography on So You Think You Can Dance (Australia)

In 2010, Robin joined Strictly Come Dancing (BBC), partnering with Anita Dobson, Patsy Kensit, Lisa Riley and Deborah Meaden. He also danced alongside Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart, Alice Cooper, Katherine Jenkins and Christina Perri. He was also a regular reporter on It Takes Two.

Robin won 2011’s Children in Need Special with Susanna Reid (BBC Breakfast) He partnered Anna Kennedy in The People’s Strictly for Comic Relief, receiving a perfect score of 40. He has also performed for the entire royal family.

In 2013, Robin headlined Burn the Floor in the West End. His other theatrical credits include national tours of Dance to The Music, Puttin’ on the Ritz, Keep Dancing, his national fairwell tour, 2 tours of Come What May, Here Come The Boys (London Palladium) and Burn the Floor 25th Anniversary Tour. 

Robin was awarded an Honorary Degree from Suffolk University for his services to dance.

During the pandemic, Robin started free online classes and quizzes, taught dance classes for primary schools, and took his energy into care homes, albeit via the internet. He wanted to find a way to bring people together during such a difficult period., creating forums for people who were lonely or struggling to cope. In response to his own personal difficulties with mental health, Robin launched his own motivational speaking and corporate team-building courses to bring people together through the power of dance.

Robin is pleased to be back with PHA, having previously played Genie in Bridlington, Redditch and Worthing.

 

Anthony Sahota – Aladdin

Anthony starred on TV’s BBC One talent competition, Let it Shine hosted by Gary Barlow, which aimed to find young performers to star in The Band, a new stage musical featuring the songs of
Take That. He made it to the Live finals of the BBC talent show, giving him his TV name.

A passionate actor, singer and performer, Anthony had record deal offers prior to the show but decided to finish his degree in engineering before pursuing his performing dreams.

Anthony has performed all over the globe, he’s starred in a variety of shows as Peter Pan as well as being the official Aladdin of Dubai. He has also toured the UK on multiple well known
tours, most recently being apart of an Olivier award nominated David Walliams show.

He couldn’t have been more thrilled to be back on the big stage this year in 2023, after finishing another big UK Tour, a David Walliams show Billionaire Boy.

His early theatrical experience included being directed by Andrew Lloyd Webber in the musical Whistle down the Wind. And Most recently Anthony has been pro-active with film work, landing
himself a movement role in an upcoming prequal Netflix series and playing stunt double in an upcoming Disney + series.

Throughout lockdown, Anthony was writing and recording music, to which he recently released his single called ‘Firefly’ in August 2021. Beforehand Anthony released two previous singles,
‘Maria’ in the summer of 2019 and ‘Touchdown’ in 2020.

He has lots of exciting plans with his performing and TV filming rolling into 2024.

Anthony has been on a mission to support other actors in his field, behind the scenes and while he’s been off the big stage, with his most recent mission taking him to Egypt, where he was
managing an entertainment team.

In his recent return to the UK, he is very excited to be back playing cheeky chap Aladdin this Christmas and returning to Lowestoft.

Terry Gleed – Wishee Washee

Terry graduated from the Guildford School of Acting, with an accredited diploma and the Musical Theatre Award for Most Promising Student, having completed three years’ training in musical theatre.

He subsequently joined Lulu and Eric Sykes for the Broadway musical version of Peter Pan (UK tour) in the role of Slightly, one of the Lost Boys. He then spent six months as an Apostle in Jesus Christ Superstar (European tour) before playing Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance (UK tour) and joining Vince Hill in My Dearest Ivor, in which he played Ivor Novello aged 13 (UK tour).

Terry has spent many happy years touring the globe as a production vocalist on many of P & O cruiseships – including Adonia, Arcadia, Aurora, Oriana, Artemis, Oceana, Victoria and Canberra – and he marked his 25th anniversary with the company.

In the land of pantomime, he has performed in numerous theatres across the country, playing the heroic roles of Peter Pan (Sutton, Bridlington, Porthcawl), Aladdin (Bridlington, Ilford, Redditch), Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk (Telford, Bridlington, Brentford and twice at Stevenage), Puss in Puss in Boots (Stevenage), Colin in Puss in Boots (Colwyn Bay), Billy Crusoe in Robinson Crusoe (Ayr) and Sinbad in The Adventures of Sinbad (Inverness). Terry has also played pantomime comic roles in Aladdin, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, performing for PHA in Aylesbury, Bridlington, Weston-super-Mare and here in Lowestoft.

Daniel Wallace – Widow Twankey

Daniel Wallace performs as Drag Act – Anna Phylactic and is a member of the Family Gorgeous and proud #Manchesterqueen, who can currently be seen in The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula. Daniel has also appeared as Anna in Drag SOS (Channel 4/Netflix), reached the final of Ru Paul’s Drag Ambassador search and in hit film ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ which is available to watch on Amazon.

Stage credits include playing Morgan Pierce in Death Drop at The Garrick Theatre in London’s West End twice, a number of Peaches Christ productions (including Hocum Pocum, Spice Racks, Bearbarella and Return To Grey Gardens), The Little Mermaid (Joe Purdy Productions) and Polari Mission and Life’s A Drag (Contact Theatre).

Anna’s face is on a mural in the heart of Manchester’s Gay village and she is a permanent feature in The Manchester Art Gallery (as part of Sonya Boyce’s 6 Acts) at The Manchester Museum.

Mia Longman – Princess Jasmine

Mia graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Theatre Brighton in 2021.

Her theatre credits include Princess Jasmine, Aladdin (PHA Pantomimes, Leas Cliff Hall Folkestone), Sleeping Beauty (Jordan Productions Ltd, Devonshire Park Theatre Eastbourne), Aladdin (Qdos
Entertainment, White Rock Theatre Hastings), Sunday Night Live (Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne) and Fiesta: Gloria Estefan Tribute.

Credits in training include The Fox/Ensemble/Dance Captain in The Little Prince (Ed Burnside, ICTheatre) and Blodwyn in Boudica (Gary Sefton, ICTheatre).

In between performing jobs, Mia is a musical theatre tutor and princess party entertainer for her own company in East Sussex.

Mia is thrilled to be reprising the role of her favourite childhood Princess Jasmine this year. She hopes you enjoy this magical show!

Nicholas Lee – Abanazar

This is Alexander’s sixth year for PHA, having first appeared in 2016 alongside Ann Widecombe in Snow White, and subsequently as Herman ,The Henchman, in Snow White (2017), Fleshcreep in Jack and the Beanstalk (2018/2019) and Abanazar in Aladdin (2021).

He studied at Fourth Monkey 2yr rep course in London (2014-2016). Before all that Alex was, and still is a professional magician, and member of the Magic Circle. He started his magical journey at the age of 3 when he received a magic kit for his birthday. He then joined the Young Magician Club (YMC) at the Magic Circle. Through that he won J-day (Junior day) and also took home the comedy cup.

Alex then went on to perform in Las Vegas, at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, and was a finalist in the young magician of the year. Alex learnt most of his tricks of the trade performing his street shows in Covent Garden. He has also performed in his own standalone shows. (Nicholas Lee In The Library With A Wand, 2012) (It’s Not What It Looks Like, 2017) and more recently (It Wasn’t A Phase, 2022)

Rachel O’Hare – Spirit of the Ring

Yorkshire born Rachel trained from age 3 in ballet, tap and contemporary, competing in the final of Miss Dance of Great Britain in 2007 and singing in the semi-final of GMTV’s family band competition in 2009, later graduating with a 1st class degree in BA Acting at The Arts University Bournemouth. She performed on the West End with Duck Egg Theatre as ‘Pam’ in Leave Hitler to Me, Lad in 2015. A born storyteller, she regularly tours in the UK and Europe with Vienna’s English Theatre, Wizard Theatre and Illyria Theatre, notably as ‘Mole’ in The Wind in The Willows at The Minack Theatre in 2020 and most recently as ‘Maid Marian’ in Robin Hood. James Franklin – Emperor

Many, many, many moons ago I trained at Bretton Hall College in Wakefield, which unfortunately is now being transformed into a spa hotel! Since graduating I have performed all over the UK in many children’s shows playing whole multitude of characters as well as many outdoor productions of Shakespeare and children’s shows, for my own open air theatre company, Boxtree Productions. I have adapted such classic stories as ‘The Three Musketeers’ and ‘Wind In The Willows’ and have taken them to some truly spectacular venues!

I have performed in shows at the Edinburgh Fringe including ‘Crabbit: The Musical’ and also I loved playing Benedick in a production of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ for Shakespeare’s 400th birthday celebrations in Stratford-upon-Avon.

I have tour the World as Henry Higgins in ‘Pygmalion’, and it was great to see the world, including a very fun two weeks in Japan. I’ve even danced on Chinese state television!

I have spent many Christmasses in Pantomimes including ‘Aladdin’ (now three times), ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Peter Pan’, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and ‘Dick Whittington’.  This is my third time working for Paul Holman Associates having previously played Alderman Fitzwarren in ‘Dick Whittington’ at the Spotlight Theatre, Hoddesdon and here at the Marina Theatre as Henchman in ‘Snow White’.

I also regularly perform at the iconic and legendary Hippodrome circus in Great Yarmouth as the villain in their ‘Pirates Live’ and ‘Halloween Spooktacular’. This is the only purpose built circus left in the country and it’s well worth a visit if you can!

When I’m not writing or producing or performing, I am a stay at home Dad to my daughters, Orelia and Mabel, and I can’t believe that both of them have now started school! Where has the time gone?

Since that dreaded year, 2020, I have taken a bit of a hiatus from Pantomime, as it has been nice to spend the time with my family at Christmas but it’s really great to be back with PHA and at this wonderful theatre, and I hope you enjoy the show!

Eoghan McNelis – Genie of the Lamp (Covering Robin Windsor on Sat 16th Dec)

Eoghan is very excited to be performing as the Genie in this fantastic pantomime! He is currently touring the UK as Bob Gaudio in the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute, the East Coast Boys.

Having a classical music background, Eoghan’s stage career began at the Royal Opera House before he turned his hand to musical direction (Sweet Charity, Oxford Playhouse), Big Band singing (Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club) and Musical Theatre performance (including singing ‘Maria’ at the Royal Albert Hall).

Other theatrical credits include Lewis (STOP, Edinburgh Fringe Tour), Eddi O’Grady (Made in Dagenham, Oxford Playhouse) and Macheath (Threepenny Opera, Oxford Playhouse)

When not on stage, Eoghan is a fully qualified medical doctor and works in the Evelina Children’s Hospital in London, having studied medicine at the University of Oxford.

Jayna Carroll – Ensemble

I am over the moon to be making my first professional debut after training at Evolution foundation college graduating in 2023.

After 8 years of performing at the Norwich Theatre Royal pantomime from the age of 5, I can’t wait to carry on my pantomime experience. I’d like to give massive thanks to Funky Feet school of dance and performing arts for getting me where I wanted to be. Extra thanks to my parents for always believing in me and my dreams

Georgie Melton – Ensemble

Georgie started her professional training at Evolution Foundation College. She then went on to complete a 3 year level 6 Diploma at Bodywork Performing Arts Company Cambridge. Georgie finished her training at Laine Theatre Arts where she completed a BA (hons) degree in musical theatre in 2022.

Georgie performed as part of the ensemble in the Ipswich Regent Theatre’s pantomimes between 2014-2020. She has also performed in 3 Easter Panto national tours with Enchanted Entertainment.

In 2021 and 2022 Georgie performed as a Magic Elf at Lapland UK and additionally undertook the role of show captain in 2022.

Throughout this year Georgie has enjoyed performing at Chessington World of Adventures.

Georgie is super excited to perform with Paul Holman Associates in this production of Aladdin. She would like to thank her family for their continued support and wishes you all a very Merry Christmas.

Rueben Pearce – Ensemble & PC

Reuben is currently training at Performers College working towards his Trinity Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance, he will be graduating next July. Reuben is loving the time he has spent with PHA so far working on Aladdin and he hopes everyone has a wonderful Christmas, New Year and of course for everyone to enjoy the show!

 

 

Aidan Dunlop – Ensemble & PC

Aidan is in his graduating year at Performer’s College in Essex, where he is completing his studies for a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre and Dance.

His performing credits include All That Fall (Jermyn Street Theatre, Arts Theatre), Paddy Power (advertisement), Ulysses (BBC Radio 4) and Britain’s Most Evil Killers (Sky Pick).

He is very excited to be making his professional pantomime debut with PHA in Aladdin at the Marina Theatre here in Lowestoft.

 

 

Jeremy Tustin – Director

Jeremy trained at Mountview Theatre School on the 3 year acting and musical theatre course

After graduating from Mountview Theatre School, he was lucky enough to have appeared in numerous West End, touring and rep seasons including playing Raoul in ‘Phantom of the Opera’, ‘One Touch of Venus’, ’Evita’ and ’A Little Night Music’.  Jeremy’s first panto was at the Theatre Royal Windsor with Ernie Wise playing Prince in ‘Sleeping Beauty’. He then went on to play Prince in numerous pantos after that with Qudos and PHA.

Now directing full time, he has worked with many companies around the UK and has over 150 shows under his belt. His latest productions have included ‘Legally Blonde’, ‘Kinky Boots’ ‘School of Rock’ and ‘Bugsy Malone’.

Choreographer – Nicole Turner

Nicole trained at Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) where she pursued her love of dance.

Graduating in 2019 with a diploma in Musical Theatre.

Since then Nicole has appeared as dance captain in Snow White (Leas Cliff Hall), Tiger Lily in Peter Pan (Bridlington Spa) and last year choreographed Cinderella (The Lowther Pavillion Theatre Lytham).

This will be Nicoles 6th year working for PHA and she can’t wait to be back.
