For 7 – 13 year olds
This creative programme at the Marina Theatre is for young children who enjoy reading, drama and using their imaginations.
Each session, the group will explore a different book, using it as the inspiration for all activities in that session.
Sessions will begin with an interactive introduction to the chosen story, followed by themed games, discussion and imaginative storytelling activities that explore the book’s characters, settings and key events.
Through drama exercises, movement and creative play, children will deepen their understanding of the story while developing confidence, communication skills and teamwork. Each session will build towards the children acting out the story together in an informal, supportive setting.
