MARINA COMEDY CLUB IS BACK WITH A BANG!

Headlined by Lucy Beaumont!

Lucy is a hugely talented stand-up, comedy actress and writer. She was recently announced to be one of the contestants on the first series of the celebrity version of smash-hit show The Traitors on BBC 1. Previously, she has starred as one of the contestants on Series 16 of Taskmaster (Channel 4). Alongside this, in late 2024 she completed her most recent stand-up show to sold-out audiences across the UK, which was extended for a third leg due to audience demand. She is also known for starring in and writing five series of Meet the Richardsons (Dave).

Her performance in the show was nominated for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme in the 2023 BAFTAs, and the show won Best Comedy Programme at the Broadcast Digital Awards. Lucy created and co-wrote Hullraisers; a female led comedy series which launched on Channel 4 in Spring 2022, with a second series airing in Autumn 2023 – “Hullraisers is unapologetic. It’s laugh out loud. It’s real” (Refinery29). In 2023, she hosted Channel 4’s new Friday night panel show Odd Couples and was praised as “uproariously funny and highly relatable” by the Radio Times. In 2021 she also published a book entitled Drinking Custard: The Diary of A Confused Mum.

As well as a burgeoning TV career, Lucy has had success on stage and on radio. She is the writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s To Hull and Back and was nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award with her debut Edinburgh show, We Can Twerk It Out, for which she was described by Chortle as “irresistibly endearing”. Prior to this, she was winner of The BBC New Comedy Award and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer.

She has appeared on numerous entertainment shows; Would I Lie To You (BBC1) counts her as a regular, and she has also appeared on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel (BBC1), Live at the Apollo (BBC1), Have I Got News For You (BBC1), Celebrity Bake Off (C4), Ranganation (BBC), Guessable (Dave), Celebrity Gogglebox (C4), QI (BBC2), Drunk History (Comedy Central), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), The One Show (BBC1), Cats Does Countdown (C4), What’s Going to Kill Us (C5) and Live At The Electric (BBC Three).

Opening the show is Radio Essex presenter and stand-up comedian Ross McGrane! Ross is quickly climbing the comedy ranks, having beaten the infamous Gong at the Comedy Store on his first attempt and coming 2nd in the Comedy Cafe’s new act night Ross has already found himself supporting industry heavyweights such as Jo Brand, Seann Walsh, Bob Mills and Patrick Monohan and recently has been booked as official tour support for Russell Kane playing in front of audiences as big 1,600.

He’s been lucky enough to perform several times at some of the country’s most prestigious venues, sharing the stage with the likes of Jon Richardson, Ian Stone, Lee Mack & more. Ross has gigged all over the UK as well as abroad at various shows in the Middle East, compering, opening and headlining.

With the brilliant Will Duggan! Will has been performing comedy since 2009 and since then has cemented himself as a dynamic and interesting performer in comedy clubs around the country. He mixes stories and gags with a cheerfully cynical view of the world.

Hosted by one of the best MCs in the country, Jeremy O’Donnell!
