Heritage Open Days 2019

Heritage Open Days 2019

Last year Lowestoft was in the top 10 towns for events taking place as part of National Heritage Open Days. This year, we’re planning a range of events set to take place on 14th September

Come and visit us between 10am and 4pm where we are opening our doors to the public. Our historic building has seen many changes and refurbishments and is full of stories. Relive your own memories from visits past, or experience our café and 800 seat auditorium for the first time. Join in with the many free events which we will be running throughout the day including Lino printing with Edwin Mitchell-Finch, pop-up performances, theatre skills sessions, quiz’s, and dress-up photo-booths!

Guided Heritage Tours:

Free. Under 13’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Explore behind the scenes of our wonderful theatre. Take a guided history tour of the building, including many areas not normally on view to the public. Delve into our secret corners and discover more about our fascinating history.
