New menu items added as Marina Café Bar continues to flourish!

Delicious freshly baked cakes are sure to prove popular as The Marina Theatre Café Bar has launched a selection of new menu items.

The Café Bar, which is under new management, will continue to support suppliers across East Anglia by championing the quality local products they provide.

Situated at the historic Marina Theatre, the Café Bar is open Monday to Saturday from 10am, serving a wide range of speciality hot drinks, delicious cakes and light meals – it is the perfect place to meet with friends for lunch, or enjoy a light meal before a performance.

More recently, new Café Bar manager Angie Cull has introduced a number of themed menu items – directly relating to our diverse programme of live performances.

Regulars to the Café Bar may have noticed the Tracy Turnblad Tuna Melt, the Corny Collins Cheesy Toastie, or the Baltimore BLT when Hairspray arrived in town.

Maybe the tasty cupcakes for The Tiger Who Came To Tea or popular cakes including Coffee and Walnut, Carrot or Victoria Sponge caught the eye.

Or even our tasty specials which often include open sandwiches such as pepperoni cheese and tomato, mushroom cheese and peppers, summer salads and croissants.

The Café Bar has a varied menu including jacket potatoes, soups, seasonal specials, various cakes and sweet treats – hot and cold drinks are also available – including alcoholic beverages.

Angie Cull, Café Bar Manager, said: “We pride ourselves on providing great quality and service – including gluten free menu options.

“You can expect a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere when you come and visit us!”

The Theatre Café Bar is also the place to visit before an afternoon or evening show, with the introduction of the pre-theatre dining range of High Tea Platters.

To book for pre-theatre dining, call our box office on 01502 533200 or speak to a member of staff. 24 hours’ notice is required.
